Solomon Sackett, son of Solomon Sackett and Mary ___, was born in North Haven, ConnecticutG, in 17841,2 and baptized at the Congregational Society, North HavenG, on 23 December 1784.3 He died aged 70 in Canaan, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 17 January 18552,3 and was buried at Benedict Cemetery, Norfolk, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG.4 He married Hulda Webster.2 She was born in about 1788.5 She was admitted to the Congregational Church, Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, and baptized there on 4 November 1821.6 She died aged 56 in SandisfieldG on 13 August 18447,8,9 and was buried at Benedict Cemetery, NorfolkG.10
     In 1850 Solomon was living at Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded in the census as Solomon Sackett, a farmer, aged 65, and born in Connecticut. Living with him were his daughter Cordelia and son-in-law John Healy.11
