David Sackett, son of Lieutenant David Sacket and Lucretia Shepard, was born, presumably in MassachusettsG, in about 1776.1,2 He died aged 52 in Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 2 February 1829 and was buried at Hill Cemetery, BlandfordG.3 He married in about 1803, Anna Parke.1,4 Anna was born in MassachusettsG in about 1787.5
David was listed in the 1810 census as a householder in BlandfordG.6
In 1820 he was a householder in Russell, Hampden CountyG.7
David made his will in BlandfordG on 8 January 1829, naming as beneficiaries his wife Anna and children, Charlotte, Leverett, and Elizabeth.
In 1850 David's widow Anna was living in BlandfordG in the household of her son Leverett Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Anna Sackett, aged 67 and born in Massachusetts.8
