Harriet Maria Cooley, daughter of James Smedley Cooley and Mary Elizabeth Sackett, was born in Canandaigua, New York State^G, on 2 January 1852¹ and died there on 4 December 1927.¹ She was unmarried.¹

Augustine Sackett Cooley, son of James Smedley Cooley and Mary Elizabeth Sackett, was born in Canandaigua, New York State^G, on 14 July 1856.¹ He died at his home on Gibson Street in Canandaigua^G on 9 November 1920¹ and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua^G.¹ He married at Canandaigua^G on 28 August 1883, Harriet Cornelia Reed, daughter of William Allen Reed and Esther A Paddock. Harriet was born at Seneca Castle, New York State^G, on 24 October 1860.¹
     Cooley Genealogy—Augustine S. Cooley lived his entire life in Canandaigua. Upon finishing his course at Canandaigua Academy, he engaged at once in the family hardware business, with which he was identified until his death, first as an assistant to his father, then as a partner, and then in patnership with his cousin, Albert Eugene Cooley; and finally as the head of the firm which became A.S. Cooley & Co.
     Mr. Cooley never held public office, but was a member of the village fire department for several years, one of the organizers of the Canandaigua Street Railroad Company, secretary of the Ontario County Agricultural Society, and a leader in the local mercantile world; and as a citizen, he earned an enviable reputation for enterprise and integrity. Of quiet and unassuming manner, he was a loyal friend and neighbor. He was a member of the Congregational church.

Lura Esther Cooley, daughter of Augustine Sackett Cooley and Harriet Cornelia Reed, was born in Canandaigua, New York State^G, on 27 June 1884.¹ She married on 21 June 1909, William Bushnell Osborne [II], son of William Bushnell Osborne and Laura McDonald.¹ William [II] was born in Rochester, New York State^G, on 25 November 1884.¹ He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service in Portland, Oregon^G.¹

James Allen Cooley MD, son of Augustine Sackett Cooley and Harriet Cornelia Reed, was born in Canandaigua, New York State^G, on 10 August 1885.¹
     Dr James Cooley graduated MD from Cornell Medical College in 1908. He worked in the Lincoln Hospital, New York, and in the Sailors' Snug Hospital on Staten Island before entering practice in Brooklyn, NY.¹

Lucy Sackett Curtiss, daughter of Franklin A Curtiss and Silia Jane Comstock, was born in Warren, Litchfield County, Connecticut^G, on 31 October 1880.¹ She died aged 92 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut^G, on 10 March 1973.^2,3
     In 1900 Lucy was living at the Northfield Seminary, Northfield Town, Franklin County, Massachusetts^G, and was recorded in the census as Lucy S Curtise, a pupil, aged 19 and born in Connecticut.⁴ Lucy was also recorded in the 1900 census in the household of her parents Franklin and Silia.⁵
     Lucy attended Wellesley College, Massachusetts^G, from 1905, and graduated MA from Columbia University, New York, in 1910.⁶
     In 1910 she was living at West 123rd Street, Manhattan, New York City^G, in the household of her widowed mother Silia, 68, and was recorded as Lucy S Curtiss, a teacher, aged 29 and born in Connecticut.⁷
     Lucy visited the United Kingdom in 1914, arriving in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 8 August 1914. She arrived back in Boston from Liverpool, England, on 1 September 1914 on the SS Devonian.^8,9
     In 1920 she was living at Washington Terrace, Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded as Lucy Curtiss, a schoolteacher, head of household, single, aged 39. She owned her home on a mortgage. Living with her was her widowed mother Silia, 77.¹⁰
     In 1930 she was living at Washington Terrace, Bridgeport^G, and was recorded as Lucy S Curtiss, a schoolteacher, head of household, unmarried, aged 49. She owned her home. Also in the household were two lodgers.¹¹
     Lucy visited England in 1930, arriving back in Quebec from Liverpool on the SS Duchess of Atholl on 30 August 1930. Her home address was 31 Washington Terrace, Bridgeport.¹²
     Lucy wrote a history of the Congregational Church of Christ, Warren^G, in 1956 [Extracts].¹³

Henry Sturtevant Comstock, son of Justus Sackett Comstock and Phebe Rebecca Sturtevant, was born in Warren, Connecticut^G, on 5 October 1873.^1,2 He married on 21 October 1904, Laura T Patterson.¹
     In 1880 Henry was living in Warren^G in the household of his parents Justus and Phebe, and was recorded in the census as Henry Comstock, aged six and born in Connecticut.³

Ella Sackett Comstock, daughter of Justus Sackett Comstock and Phebe Rebecca Sturtevant, was born on 29 August 1879.^1,2 She married on 10 October 1900, Walter Clark Benedict.^1,2
     In 1880 Ella was living in Warren^G in the household of her parents Justus and Phebe, and was recorded in the census as Ella Comstock, aged nine months and born in Connecticut.³

Laura Luella Comstock, daughter of Justus Sackett Comstock and Phebe Rebecca Sturtevant, was born on 23 March 1887.^1,2
