Sarah Melinda "Linda" Sackett, daughter of Dennis Sackett and Sarah Ann Pleas, was born in MichiganG on 21 June 1841.1 She married first in Detroit, Wayne County, MichiganG, in 1858, Marshall D Robinson.1 She married second in Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 3 May 1905, James Q Bullock, a farmer, son of J E Bullock and Maria Place.2 James was born in MichiganG about 1848.3

Archie Adelmar Sackett, son of Adelbert Darwin Sackett and Julia Griffin, was born in Windsor, OhioG, on 4 March 1871.1,2 He died aged 27 on 25 June 1898.1
     Archie Sackett served with the "Rough Riders" during the Spanish-American War. He was killed when, on duty as a guard, he fell from a train on the way to the war front.
     In 1880 Archie was living in WindsorG in the household of his father Adelbert and stepmother Eunice, and was recorded in the census as Archie Sackett, aged nine and born in Ohio.3
At the breaking out of the war with Spain, [Archie Adelmar Sackett] was in Wyoming, and there, in 1898, enlisted in Col. J. L. Torry's regiment of "Rough Riders." While in transit to the seat of war on a train of cars, he was detailed as a guard and assigned to duty on one of the car platforms. In passing through a tunnel he was overcome with smoke and gas, fell between the cars and was killed.

Bertha Viola Sackett, daughter of Adelbert Darwin Sackett and Julia Griffin, was born in OhioG on 2 October 1876.1,2 When Bertha was still a baby, aged one year eight months, her mother Julia died giving birth to another daughter. Bertha was adopted by Enos and Betsy Morgan and was given the Morgan name. Bertha died aged 86 in Trumbull County, OhioG, on 8 February 19633 and was buried at North View Cemetery, Gustavus, Trumbull CountyG.6 She married at Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 2 July 1899, Orian Clyde Calaway, son of Carmi Calaway and Lestina Strong.1,4,5 Orian was born on 20 February 1872.6 He died in 1953 and was buried at North View Cemetery, GustavusG.6
     In 1880 Bertha was living in Plymouth Township, Ashtabula County, OhioG, in the household of her adoptive parents Enos and Betsy Morgan, and was recorded in the census as Bertha Morgan, aged three and born in Ohio.7
     In 1900 she was living in Plymouth TownshipG and was recorded as Bertha V Calaway, aged 22. She was living with her husband Orian in the household of her adoptive father Enos Morgan. Also in the household was Bertha's sister Julia Sackett, 20, described as a servant.8
     In 1910 she was living at Morgan Road, Plymouth TownshipG, in the household of her husband Orian, 36, a farmer, and was recorded as Bertha Calaway, aged 32. Living with them were their children, Veda, 9, Morgan, 7, and Kenneth, aged six. Also in the household was Bertha's widowed adoptive father Enos Morgan, aged 82.9
     In 1920 she was living at Main Road, Gustavus, Trumbull County, OhioG, in the household of her husband Orian, 46, a road construction foreman, and was recorded as Bertha V Calloway, aged 43. Living with them were their children, Veda, 18, Morgan, 17, Kenneth, 15, and Alice, aged seven.10
     In 1930 she was living in GustavusG in the household of her husband Orian, 57, a highway rollerman, and was recorded as Bertha Calaway, aged 53. Living with them were their children, Morgan, 28, and Alice, aged 17.11

     In 1900 Julia was living in Plymouth Township, Ashtabula County, OhioG, and was recorded in the census as Julia A Sacket, aged 20 and born in Ohio. She was living with her sister Bertha and brother-in-law Orian Calaway in the household of Bertha's adoptive father Enos Morgan and was described as a servant.3
