Fitch Reed, son of Elijah Fitch Reed and Mary Jacobia, was born in New York State^G in February 1830.^1,2 He died aged 70 in March 1900.¹ He married Nancy Dunham.¹
     In 1850 Fitch was living at Clifton Park, Saratoga County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents Elijah and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Fitch Reed, a farmer, aged 20 and born in New York.³

Margaret Eleanor Reed, daughter of Stephen Elijah Reed and Rachel Ann Fonda, was born in New York State^G on 11 December 1862.^1,2 She died aged 56 on 18 January 1919.³ She married on 11 December 1883, Ransom Bentley Scrafford.^1,3 Ransom was born on 30 May 1861³ and died aged 75 on 17 January 1937.³
     In 1880 Margaret was living at Vischers Ferry, Clifton Park, Saratoga County^G, in the household of her parents Stephen and Rachel, and was recorded in the census as Maggie Reed, at school, aged 17 and born in New York.⁴
     In 1910 she was living in Charlton, Saratoga County, New York State^G, in the household of her husband Ransom, 48, a poultry farmer, and was recorded as Maggie R Scrafford, aged 47 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, Earl, 24, and Elise, aged 16.⁵

Mary Reed, daughter of Elijah Fitch Reed and Mary Jacobia, was born in New York State^G about 1837.^1,2 She married Edgar J Rorabeck.¹
     In 1850 Mary was living at Clifton Park, Saratoga County, New York State^G, in the household of her parents Elijah and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Mary Reed, aged 13 and born in New York.³

Mary Augusta Reed, daughter of Stephen Elijah Reed and Rachel Ann Fonda, was born in New York State^G on 25 October 1847.^1,2 She married Joseph B Casterlin.¹
     In 1850 Mary was living at Clifton Park, Saratoga County, New York State^G, and was recorded in the census as Mary Esther Reed, aged three and born in New York. She was living with her parents Stephen and Rachel in the household of her grandparents Elijah and Mary Reed.³
