Florence Lylian Sackett, daughter of William Henry Sackett and Rose "Mary Jane" (Payne) Clark, was born in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey^G, on 15 September 1868.^1,2,3 She died aged 32 in Newark^G on 2 December 1900.⁴ She married in Newark^G on 27 June 1897, Edwin Westervelt.⁵ Edwin was born in Newark^G in November 1863.^2,3
     In 1870 Florence was living in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey^G, in the household of her parents William and Rose, and was recorded in the census as Florence L Sacket, aged one and born in New Jersey.⁶
     In 1880 she was living at Grove Street, Elizabeth^G, in the household of her mother Mary [Rose] and stepfather John Bieron, and was recorded as Florence L Sacket, aged twelve and born in New Jersey.⁷
     In 1895 Florence was living in Newark^G with her mother Rose, sister Lulu, and half-sister Harriet.⁸
     In 1900 she was living at 223 2nd Street, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey^G, in the household of her husband Edwin Westervelt, 36, an insurance agent, and was recorded as Florence Westervelt, aged 30. Living with them were Florence's unmarried sister Lulu, 28, and Florence and Lulu's widowed mother Rose, 65.⁹

Harriet A Sackett, daughter of William Henry Sackett and Pluma Woodford, was born in New York State^G on 30 January 1832.^1,2 She died aged 81 in Caroline, Tompkins County, New York State^G, on 3 April 1913 and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, Tioga County, New York State^G.^1,3,4

     In 1860 she was living in Albany, New York State^G, in the household of her parents William and Pluma, and was recorded as Harriet A Sackett, aged 27.⁶
     In 1870 she was living in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey^G, in the household of William Sacket (probably an enumeration error for her brother Nathaniel), and was recorded as Harriet A Sacket, aged 38.⁷
     In 1880 she was living at Grove Street, Elizabeth^G, in the household of her stepmother Mary and Mary's third husband John Bieron, and was recorded as Harriet A Sacket, aged 48. Also in the household were her brother Nathaniel, 45, with his wife Jane, 35, and Harriet and Nathaniel's half-sisters, Florence, 12, and Sarah, 10.⁸
     In 1895 Harriet was living in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey^G, with her stepmother Rose and half-sisters, Florence and Lulu [Sarah Eloise].⁹
     In 1910 she was living in Caroline^G in the household of her cousin Alotus Stevens, a farmer, and was recorded as Harriet A Sackett, aged 78, single.¹⁰

Helen Adelaide Sackett, daughter of Nathaniel O Sackett and Phebe Jane "Jennie" Dikeman, was born in New York State^G on 3 June 1881.^1,2
     In 1892 Helen was living in Candor^G in the household of her parents Nathaniel and Jennie, and was recorded in the census as Helen A Sackett, aged twelve.³
     In 1900 she was living in Candor^G in the household of her parents Nathaniel and Jennie, and was recorded as Helen A Sackett, at school, aged 19 and born in New York.⁴
     In 1920 she was living at Church Street, Candor^G, in the household of her widowed mother Jennie, 75, and was recorded as Helen A Sackett, a teacher, aged 38.⁵

Nathaniel O Sackett, son of William Henry Sackett and Pluma Woodford, was born in Tioga County, New York State^G, on 26 July 1834.^1,2 He died aged 71 in Candor, Tioga County^G, on 22 January 1906 and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor^G.^1,3,4 He married on 1 August 1865, Phebe Jane "Jennie" Dikeman, daughter of Miles Carey Dikeman and Julia Dean.¹ Phebe was born in Pennsylvania^G in June 1844.² She died aged 82 in Candor^G on 18 January 1927 and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor^G.^4,5
     In 1850 Nathaniel was living in Candor, Tioga County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents William and Pluma, and was recorded in the census as Nathaniel O Sacket, aged 15 and born in New York.⁶
     Nathaniel, then of Albany, New York State, was a student at the Collegiate and Commercial Institute, New Haven, Connecticut^G, in 1852–53.⁷
     In 1860 he was living in Albany, New York State^G, in the household of his parents William and Pluma, and was recorded as Nathaniel O Sackett, a clerk, aged 25.⁸
     In 1865 he was living in Candor^G and was recorded as Nathaniel Sackett, single, aged 29 and born in Tioga County.⁹
     A William Sacket, aged 36, listed in the 1870 census in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey^G, may have been this Nathaniel, the name being confused with that of his father. Other household members, Jane Sacket, 26, born in Pennsylvania, and Harriet A Sacket, 38, born in New York State, would match his wife and sister respectively.¹⁰
     In 1880 he was living at Grove Street, Elizabeth^G, in the household of his stepmother Mary [Rose] and her third husband John Bieron, and was recorded as Nathaniel Sacket, aged 45. His wife Jane, 35, was living with him. Also in the household were his sister, Harriet, 48, and half-sisters, Florence, 12 and Sarah, 10.¹¹
     In 1892 he was living in Candor^G and was recorded as Nathaniel O Sackett, aged 58. Living with him were his wife Jennie, 48, and their daughter Helen, aged twelve.¹²
     In 1900 he was living in Candor^G and was recorded as Nathaniel O Sackett, aged 65. Living with him were his wife Jennie, 55, and their daughter Helen, aged 19.¹³
     In 1910 Nathaniel's widow Jennie was living at Owego Street, Candor^G, and was recorded in the census as Jennie Sackett, a dressmaker, aged 66.¹⁴
     In 1920 she was living at Church Street, Candor^G, and was recorded as Jennie D Sackett, aged 75. Her unmarried daughter Helen, 38, was living with her.¹⁵

Sarah Eloise "Lulu" Sackett, daughter of William Henry Sackett and Rose "Mary Jane" (Payne) Clark, was born in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey^G, on 9 September 1870.^1,2
     In 1880 Sarah was living at Grove Street, Elizabeth^G, and was recorded in the census as Sarah E Sacket, aged ten and born in New Jersey.³
     In 1895 Lulu was living in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey^G, with her mother Rose, sister Florence, and half-sister Harriet.⁴
