Charlotte Alvilda/Arwilda Chase, daughter of William Chase and Harriet N Sackett, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 16 December 1840.^1,2 She died aged 89 in Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania^G, on 29 January 1930 and was buried at Greendale Cemetery, Meadville^G.³ She married ___ Smith.
     In 1850 Charlotte was living in Meadville^G in the household of her parents William and Harriet, and was recorded in the census as Alvilda Chase, aged ten and born in Pennsylvania.⁴
     In 1860 she was living in Meadville^G in the household of her parents William and Harriet, and was recorded as Arwilda Chase, aged 18.⁵

Emma Jane Chase, daughter of Martin Lewis Chase and Laura B Sackett, was born in Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in October 1859.¹ She died aged 80 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota^G, on 19 January 1940.¹ She married in Faribault County, Minnesota^G, on 29 March 1876, James Bell Remick.¹
     In 1860 Emma was living in Marion, Olmsted County^G, in the household of her parents Martin and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Eliza Chase [assumed to be Emma], aged seven months and born in Minnesota.²

Erastus S Chase, son of Martin Lewis Chase and Laura B Sackett, was born in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 27 September 1857.¹ He died aged 75 in Grimshaw, Alberta, Canada^G, on 7 September 1933.¹ He married first in Blue Earth County, Minnesota^G, on 1 March 1878, Flora Fitch.¹ He married second in Cavalier County, South Dakota^G, on 1 June 1904, Susan Avis Merry.¹
     In 1857 Erastus was living in Town 106, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Martin and Laura, and was recorded in the census as E S Chase, aged one month and born in Minnesota.²
     In 1860 he was living in Marion, Olmsted County^G, in the household of his parents Martin and Laura, and was recorded as Erastus Chase, aged two.³
