     In 1860 Homer was living in Bowne, Kent County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Homer Sacket, aged seven and born in Michigan, in the household of Ebenezer Sacket.2
     In 1870 he was living at Talkington, Sangamon County, IllinoisG, and was recorded as Homer Sackett, a laborer, aged 17 and born in Michigan, in the household of Ebenezer Sackett.4

Frederick Wilbert Sackett, son of Homer Sackett, was born in IllinoisG about 1870.2 He died aged about 77 in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, LouisianaG, on 2 March 19473 and was buried at Baton Rouge, New OrleansG, on 3 March 1947.3 He married at Girard, Crawford County, KansasG, on 5 November 1890, Ellen Alphonsine Swain.4
     In 1870 Frederick was living at Talkington, Sangamon County, IllinoisG, and was recorded in the census as Frederick, aged six months and born in Illinois, in the household of Ebenezer Sackett.5
     In 1880 he was living at Waverly, Morgan County, IllinoisG, and was recorded as Frederic W Sackett, aged ten and born in Illinois, grandson of C Louisa Sackett.2
     Note: The link to Homer Sackett is tentative only. The 1880 census records Frederick W Sackett as the grandson of Louisa Sackett. Louisa's son Homer could possibly have been Frederick's father.
