     In 1880 he was living in Albany, Pepin County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Alfred Day, a farmer, aged 44. Living with him were his wife Lida, 34, and their children, Ada, 9, John, 7, and Edith, aged two. There was also a female servant in the household.⁸
     In 1900 he was living in Mondovi, Buffalo County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Alfred Day, a farmer, head of household, aged 63. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Lida, 54, and their children, Gussie (Lida Augusta), 16, and Pearl (Lillie Pearl), aged 14.⁹

Helen Amelia Day, daughter of Frederick Day and Mary Allen Sackett, was born in Ohio^G on 5 May 1836.^1,2,3 She died aged 79 in Nankin, Wayne County, Michigan^G, on 5 November 1915⁴ and was buried at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland, Kalamazoo County, Michigan^G.⁵ She married on 21 October 1858, Arora James Burrell.¹ Arora was born in Ohio^G in 1832.^3,6 He died aged about 77 in 1909 and was buried at Prairie Home Cemetery^G.⁵
     In 1860 Helen was living in Dowagiac, Cass County, Michigan^G, in the household of her husband A J Burrill, 28, a store clerk, and was recorded in the census as Helen Burrill, aged 24 and born in Ohio. Helen's mother Mary, 43, was living with them.⁷
     In 1880 she was living at Richland, Kalamazoo County, Michigan^G, in the household of her husband Arora, 47, a farmer, and was recorded as Hellen D Burrell, aged 44 and born in Ohio. Living with them were their children, Rose, 16, and Royal, aged nine.⁸

Frederick Oliver Day, son of Frederick Day and Mary Allen Sackett, was born on 2 March 1840.^1,2 He married on 22 February 1873, Emma M Tower.¹
