Susan Sackett, daughter of Richard Sackett and Susan Tomlin, was born in St John in Thanet, KentG, on 24 July 1657.1 She died aged 71 and was buried at St Lawrence in ThanetG on 19 April 1729.3 She married at Canterbury St Andrew, KentG, on 27 January 1684/85, William Evers, son of William Evers.2 He was baptized at St Lawrence in ThanetG on 5 October 1658.4

Stephen Sackett, yeoman of Margate, Kent, son of Richard Sackett and Susan Tomlin, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 20 October 1663.1 He died aged 81 and was buried there on 16 April 1745.4,5 He married at Canterbury St Alphege, KentG, on 26 December 1694, Anne Underdown.2,3 Anne was born about 1675.6 She died aged about 66 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 20 December 1741.7
     Stephen's will, made at MargateG on 28 December 1741, was proved at the Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury on 7 June 1745. No records of children of Stephen and Anne have been found and the will appears to confirm that he had no immediate family. After a bequest of £7 to a friend, George Hall the younger, he left all his estate to widow Elizabeth Smith the elder and her daughter Elizabeth Smith.8

Peter Sackett, yeoman of St John in Thanet, Kent, son of Richard Sackett and Susan Tomlin, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 3 April 1666.1 He died aged 742 and was buried there on 15 March 1740/41.2,5 He married at Canterbury St George, KentG, on 1 November 1694, Anna Kennett.3,4 Anna died aged 76 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 20 October 1747.2,6
     Tragedy struck the family of Peter and Anna Sackett in 1712 when four of their children died. Richard aged 15, Susannah, 10, Anne, 8, and Peter, aged six, were buried within a week of each other in August of that year. The family is recorded on a stone tomb at St John's Church in Thanet.2
     Peter made his will in St John in ThanetG on 24 April 1739, naming as beneficiaries his wife Anna, his son John, and his daughters Mary, Hannah and Martha. He left his house and land in St John in Thanet, and lands in Swalecliffe and Whitstable, to his wife Anne for life. His daughters, Mary, Hannah, and Martha, were to receive £100 each one year after their mother's death. The residue of the estate was to go to his son John, together with the house and lands after his mother's death. John was also appointed executor. The will was proved at the Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury on 13 June 1741.7

Richard Sackett, yeoman of St John in Thanet and Northdown, Kent, son of Richard Sackett and Susan Tomlin, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 25 April 1668.1 He died aged 622 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 14 November 1730.5,2 He married at St John in ThanetG on 17 October 1708, Martha Tomlin.3,4 She died on 17 December 17472 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 23 December 1747.6,2
     Richard made his will in St John in ThanetG on 28 October 1730, naming as beneficiaries his wife Martha and his children Richard and Susanna. His wife was to receive £80 and life enjoyment of the house. Susanna was to receive £300 at age 21 and a further £400 in various stocks on coming of age or marrying. Son Richard was to inherit all lands and estates "at Northdown, St John's, and elsewhere". Also named (and referred to as cousins) were his nephew John Sackett, who was to be overseer of the will jointly with Richard's brother-in-law Cornelius Tomlin, and who was left 40 shillings, and nieces Hannah Sackett and Martha Sackett, who were each remembered with bequests of 20 shillings. Cousin John, son of William Evas of Ramsgate, also left 20 shillings, would have been another nephew, the son of Richard's late sister Susan (Evers), and cousins Hannah Tomline and James Taddy would have been niece and nephew of Richard's wife Martha. Executors of the will were Richard's widow Martha and son Richard. The will was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury in April 1731.7
