Elizabeth Martha Setterfield Sackett, daughter of Stephen Setterfield Sackett and Rebecca Sarah Mason, was born in Margate, KentG, in 1864.1,2 She married there in 1889, Henry Murton.4,5 Henry was born in Faversham, KentG, about 1868.2 She died aged 78 in Bridge, KentG, in 1942.3
In 1871 Elizabeth was living at 1 Wellclose Square, Margate, KentG, in the household of her father Stephen Sackett, a coal-meter, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, a scholar, aged 6, and born in Margate.6
In 1881 she was living at 30 Northumberland Road, St John's, Margate, KentG, in the household of her father Stephen Sackett, a carrier, and was recorded as Elizabeth M S Sackett, a domestic at home, unmarried, aged 16, and born in Margate.7
In 1891 she was living at 4 Carroways Place, MargateG, in the household of her husband Henry, 22, a journeyman carpenter, and was recorded as Elizabeth Murton, aged 26 and born in Margate. Living with them was their son Henry, aged one.8
