Thomas Sackett, son of John Sackett and Mary Taylor, was baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 4 April 1688.1 He married there on 13 November 1722, Sarah Rolph.2 A death record for Thomas has not been found but he would have died by 1732. His widow Sarah married second at St John in Thanet on 30 December 1732, John Strood.3

John Sackett, yeoman of St Peter in Thanet, Kent, son of John Sackett and Mary Taylor, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 26 May 1689.1 He died on 24 December 1756 and was buried at St Peter in ThanetG.3 He married at St John in ThanetG on 19 November 1718, Margaret Emptage, daughter of Thomas Emptage and Godly ___.2 Margaret was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 25 December 1689.4 She died on 1 February 1758 and was buried at St Peter in ThanetG on 5 February 1758.3,5
John was named as a beneficiary in his grandfather Thomas Sackett's will made at St John in ThanetG on 1 January 1709/10.6,7
John made his will at St Peter in ThanetG on 29 November 1756, naming as beneficiaries his wife Margaret, his brothers Paul and Stephen, and his sister Anne.8 He left £20 to each of his siblings. The rest of his estate, including his real estate, was to go to his wife Margaret. John and Margaret had no surviving children, their only child Mary having died aged 19 in 1739.
John's widow Margaret made her will at St Peter in ThanetG on 20 January 1757, naming as beneficiaries the children of her sister Elizabeth.9 Margaret's will specified the lands inherited from her husband John. The messuage and land in St Peter and St John in Thanet, which she occupied, were to go to her nephew Thomas Phillpott, while a further messuage in St Peter in Thanet, was to go jointly to her nieces, Ann, Elizabeth, and Margaret Phillpott, each also to receive a sum of £40.

Paul Sackett, of Margate, Kent, son of John Sackett and Mary Taylor, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 29 January 1692/93.1 He died aged 68 and was buried there on 13 July 1761.4 He married at St Lawrence in ThanetG on 29 April 1735, Ann (___) Simmons.2,3 Ann was born about 1698.5 She died aged about 71 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 22 July 1769.6
Paul made his will at MargateG on 4 April 1752. He left his house and contents to his wife Anne. The will also named his children, Paul and Anne. The will was proved on 12 December 1770.7

Stephen Sackett, son of John Sackett and Mary Taylor, was baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 29 October 1699.1 He died aged 86 on 3 January 1786 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 11 January 1786.3,4,5 He married at St John in ThanetG on 17 November 1723, Elizabeth Gyles.2 Elizabeth died following the birth of her daughter Sarah and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 5 May 1736.6 Although his wife Elizabeth died at a young age, leaving Stephen with two daughters to bring up, it would not appear that he remarried. He survived his wife by some 50 years.
