Proved Wakefield 19.7.1884 by George Herbert Blackburn of 19 Heaton Grove, near Shipley, said Co, solicitor, the nephew & Arthur Tannett Walker of Bainbrigge Road, Headingley, Leeds, said Co, engineer, the Executors. Personal estate £3071-0-7. From will:- of Horsforth Parish of Guiseley Co York, who appoints nephew George Herbert Blackburn & friend Arthur Tannett Walker of Leeds said Co Engineer Executors & Trustees – mentions will of late uncle John Gaskell of St Nicholas Atwade Isle of Thanet Co Kent dated 20-12-1861 – son Edward Gaskell Sackett – dau Maria Blackburn (her children sub 21) – daus Catherine Jack & Emma Vickers. Witnesses: C J Blackburn, C E Blackburn, 19 Heaton grove, Bradford. Proved as above. Extracted by G H Blackburn solicitor Bradford."

"Sackett, Edward Gaskell, of 34 Tavistock Drive, Mapperley Park, Nottingham, chartered accountant, died 6.10.1925 at the Infirmary, Bagthorpe, Nottingham, leaving Edward Stewart Gordon Sackett & Henry Leonard Sackett, his natural & lawful sons & Norah Alice Horsburgh (wife of Gordon Stanley Horsburgh), Mabel Francis (wife of Frederick Hilton Francis), Eileen Fleming (wife of Malcolm Fleming), & Edith Gordon Sackett spr his lawful daus & only N.K., said sons failed to appear to Citation & said sons removed. Admon 3.5.1927 to George Franklin Bristow accountant of 1 Middle Pavement, City of Nottingham, a Creditor. £122=10=2. Bond dated 31.3.1927 for £245=0=4 sureties:- Charles William Hilton & George Lawson both of York House, King Street, City of Nottingham, estate agents."

In pursuance of the Trustee Act 1925 All persons having claims against the estate of Frederic Moseley Sackett late of Louisville County Jefferson State of Kentucky in the United States of America who died on the 18th May 1841 and to whose Estate Letters of Administration (with the Will) were on the 29th day of May 1942 granted out of the Principal Probate Registry to Guaranty Executor & Trustee Company Limited the lawful attorney of the Executor named in the said Will are requested to send particulars thereof to us the undersigned on or before the 12th day of August 1942 after which date the Administrator will proceed to distribute the assets having regard only to claims of which notice shall then have been received.
