Lucy Sackett, daughter of Russel Sackett and Polly Brass, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 17 December 1811.1,2 She died on 3 December 18812 and was buried at Peru, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG.2 She married at the First Church, WestfieldG, on 21 May 1834, Samuel Judd.3,4,5
     In 1880 Lucy was living at WestfieldG in the household of her husband Samuel, 68, a truckman, and was recorded in the census as Lucy Judd, aged 68 and born in Massachusetts. Living with them were Lucy's unmarried sister Eliza Sackett, 54, and an eight-year-old Frederick C Sackett, described as adopted. They were living next door to Lucy's sister Mercy Sackett.6
