Ezra Sackett, farmer, son of Ezra Sacket and Lydia Lovering, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 22 February 1782.1,2,3 He died aged 74 in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 19 April 18564 and was buried at Beech Plain Cemetery, Sandisfield, Berkshire CountyG.5,6 He married in about 1801, Sarah "Sally" Hurd, daughter of Daniel Hurd and Rebecca Smith.7 Sarah was born in SandisfieldG on 27 October 1783.8 She died there aged 55 on 21 March 18399,10 and was buried at Beech Plain CemeteryG.5,11
     Ezra was listed in the census in 1810, 1820, and 1830 as a householder in SandisfieldG.12,13,14
     Ezra was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made in WestfieldG on 1 March 1834. He was to receive a sum of $1.15
     Ezra was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Egremont, Berkshire CountyG.16
     In 1855 Ezra was living in Monterey, Berkshire CountyG, in the household of Rufus C Fargo, 50, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Ezra Sackett, aged 72.17
