Nicholas Robin, master mariner and corn merchant, son of Peter Robin and Elizabeth Cohu, was born in Castel, Guernsey^G, about 1805.¹ He married Susan Benet, daughter of ___ Benet and Ann ___. He died aged 76 at Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, on 10 January 1882.²
     In 1851 Nicholas was living at Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, and was recorded in the census as Nicholas Robin, keeper of a flour and grain store, head of household, married, aged 45 and born in the Castel. Living with him were his wife Susan, 39, their children, Ann, 13, Eliza, 11, Charles, 8, Jane, 4, and Susan, aged one, and Nicholas's widowed mother-in-law Ann Benet, aged 84.³
     In 1861 he was living at 1 Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, and was recorded as Nicholas Robin, a corn dealer, head of household, married, aged 59 and born in St Peter Port. Living with him were his wife Susan, 49, and their children, Ann, 23, Eliza, 21, Charles, 19, Jane, 14, and Susan, aged eleven.⁴
     In 1871 he was living at Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, and was recorded as Nicholas Robin, a shop keeper, head of household, married, aged 65 and born in the Castel. Living with him were his wife Susan, 59, and their unmarried daughters, Eliza, 31, and Susan, 21.⁵
     In 1881 he was living at 3 Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, and was recorded as Nicholas Robin, a retired corn merchant, a widower, aged 75 and born in the Castel.⁶

He married Elizabeth Cohu. Peter Robin was born say 1775.

Susan Julia Robin, daughter of Nicholas Robin and Susan Benet, was born in St Peter Port, Guernsey^G, about 1850.¹ She married William Bayley Adcock, son of William Adcock and Harriet Bayley.
     In 1861 Susan was living at 1 Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, in the household of her parents Nicholas and Susan, and was recorded in the census as Susan Robin, a scholar, aged 11 and born in St Peter Port.²
     In 1871 she was living at Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, in the household of her parents Nicholas and Susan, and was recorded as Susan Robin, a school mistress, unmarried, aged 21 and born in St Peter Port.³
     In 1881 she was living at 3 Kings Road, St Peter Port^G, in the household of her husband William, 34, a carrier, and was recorded as Susan Adcock, aged 30 and born in St Peter Port. Living with them were their children, Winifred, 3, Anita, 2, and Edith, aged one, and Susan's widowed father Nicholas, aged 75. Also in the household was a female general servant.⁴

Susanna Rogers was born say 1750. She married in Lytchett Minster, Dorset^G, on 3 January 1776, John Pardy.¹
