Eben John Sackett, son of John Preston Sackett and Mary Lucinda Corgan, was born in Nashville, IllinoisG, on 19 August 1889.2 He died in Redlands, San Bernardino County, CaliforniaG, on 11 March 1974.2 He married first at Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 18 March 1908, Margaret Mildred Crandell.2 He married second about 1925, Jeanette Dewolfe.
     Eben completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was then aged 30 [actually 27] and was living with his wife and two children at 237 West 54th Street, Los Angeles, CaliforniaG. He was employed as a telegrapher at the Department of Public Service.3
