Albert Byron Sackett, son of Darius C Sackett and Mattie Smith, was born on 18 March 1869.1 He died in Canandaigua, New York StateG, on 10 September 19051 and was buried there in the West Avenue Cemetery.1
In 1880 Albert was living at Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York StateG, in the household of his widowed mother Mattie, and was recorded in the census as Albert Sackett, at home, aged 11 and born in New York State.2
Albert Sackett established in September 1889, in company with George Byron Cooley (a "cousin" by marriage through his aunt Mary Elizabeth (Sackett) Cooley), a reporting, typewriting and copying office in the Atwater block of Canandaigua.3

He (George Byron Cooley) returned to Canandaigua in 1888 to continue his legal studies with H.M. Field. In September, 1889, in company with Albert B. Sackett, he established the reporting, typewriting and copying office in the Atwater block of Canandaigua with which he was affiliated for many years."
