Etta Mae Sackett, daughter of Homer Edgar Sackett and Mary Emma Johnson, was born in Newburgh, Cuyahoga County, OhioG, on 12 September 1868.1,2 She died aged 79 in Sandusky, Erie County, OhioG, on 10 May 1948 and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, SanduskyG.4 She married in Ashtabula County, OhioG, in 1923, Eugene W Sutton, son of David Sutton and Cornelia Rumler.3 Eugene was born in OhioG on 10 August 1873.4 He died aged 87 in SanduskyG on 23 July 1961 and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, SanduskyG.4
     In 1870 Etta was living in Newburgh, Cuyahoga County, OhioG, in the household of her parents Homer and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Mary Sacket, aged one and born in Ohio.5
