Edwin Floyd Sackett, son of Alfred F Sackett and Ivy Virginia Booth, was born in Glendale, Douglas County, OregonG, on 30 January 1903.1 He died aged 99 in Manteca, San Joaquin County, CaliforniaG, on 10 August 2002.2 He married at Grants Pass, Josephine County, OregonG, on 9 February 1925, Helen Elizabeth SwabHenkle, daughter of Ira Brooks Henkle and Dora Bell Lakins.2
In 1910 Edwin was living in Glendale, Douglas County, OregonG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Ivy, and was recorded in the census as Edwin F Sackett, aged seven and born in Oregon.3
In 1920 he was living at Savage Street, Grants Pass, Josephine County, OregonG, in the household of his widowed mother Ivy, and was recorded as Floyd Sackett, a laborer in a box factory, aged 16.4
