Eliza Mary Ann Stratton, daughter of Charles William Stratton and Lavinia Sackett, was born in Hackney, MiddlesexG, on 22 July 1843 and baptized at St John the Baptist, Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, on 29 June 1849.1
     In 1851 Eliza was living at 3 Ebenezer Buildings, Hoxton Old Town, MiddlesexG, in the household of her parents Charles and Lavinia, and was recorded in the census as Eliiza Stratton, a scholar, aged seven and born in Hackney.2
