Howard A Sackett, son of William Washington Sackett and Minerva Drives, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, in July 1851.1 He died aged about 88 in 1939 and was buried at Anaheim Cemetery, Orange County, CaliforniaG.1
     In 1870 Howard was living in Seymour, New Haven CountyG, in the household of his sister Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Howard Sackett, a worker in the paper mill, aged 18 and born in Connecticut.2
