Norman Leslie Sackett, son of Edward Leslie Sackett and Ethel Victoria Loten, was born in Richmond, SurreyG, in May 1930.1,2 He died aged 67 in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, WalesG, in October 1997.3 He married in East Ham, EssexG, in 1955, Bessie S L McQueen.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Norman was a schoolboy, living at 34 Leyfield, Malden and Coombe municipal borough, SurreyG, with his parents.5
