Capt Charles Sperry, son of James Sperry and Martha Wooden, was born in New Haven, ConnecticutG, on 23 October 17201 and baptized there on 12 July 1725.1 He died aged 82 in Canaan, ConnecticutG, in 1802.1 He married in about 1740, Martha Miles, daughter of Thomas Miles and Abigail Mix.1 Martha was born in Wallingford, ConnecticutG, on 5 November 1723.1
