George Edward Sackett, farmer, son of Henry Clay Sackett and Bathsheba Perrin, was born in Fenelon Falls, Victoria County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 29 October 1863.1,2 He died aged 81 at Fenelon Falls, Victoria County, OntarioG, on 7 October 19453 and was buried at Fenelon Falls CemeteryG.4 He married at Coboconk, OntarioG, on 20 December 1898, Henrietta "Etta" Black, daughter of Robert Albert Black and Mary Elizabeth Perrin.5 (George gave his age at marriage as 28; he was 34. Etta stated her age to be 22; she was 18.) Henrietta was born in Glenarm, Victoria CountyG, on 4 February 18806 and baptized at St. George's, Cameron, Victoria CountyG, on 8 October 1882.6 She died aged 77 on 11 March 1957 and was buried at Fenelon Falls CemeteryG.4
     In 1871 George was living in Victoria County, OntarioG, in the household of his parents Henry and Bathsheba, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, aged seven and born in Ontario.7
     In 1881 he was living in Fenelon, Victoria County, Ontario, CanadaG, in the household of his parents Henry and Bathsheba, and was recorded as George E Sackett, a farmer, an American, aged 17.8
     In 1891 he was living in FenelonG in the household of his parents Henry and Bathsheba, and was recorded as George Edward Sackett, aged 24.9
     In 1901 he was living in FenelonG and was recorded as George Sackett, head of household, married, aged 36, born 29 Oct 1864. Living with him were his wife Henretta, 21, and their daughters, Mary, 2, and Bathsheba, aged nine months.10
     In 1911 he was living in FenelonG and was recorded as George Edward Sacket, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 47. Living with him were his wife Henretta, 31, and their children, Mary, 12, Etta Rubina, 7, Annie Maria, 6, and Ennie Eileen, aged four. Their daughter Bathsheba was next door with George's parents, Henry and Bathsheba. There was also a male labourer boarding in the household.11
     In 1921 he was living in FenelonG and was recorded as George Sackett, a self-employed farmer, head of household, married, aged 56 and born in Ontario. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Henrietta, 42, and their children, Etta, 17, and Ena, aged 14.12
