Mary Sackett, daughter of George Edward Sackett and Henretta "Etta" Black, was born in Ontario, CanadaG, on 26 July 1898.1 She married in Lindsay, Victoria County, OntarioG, on 29 March 1919, Roy George Warren MacNeal, a painter, son of George MacNeal and Martha Cooper.2 Roy was born at Head Lake, Victoria CountyG, in about 1896.3
     In 1901 Mary was living at Fenelon, Victoria County, OntarioG, in the household of her parents George and Henrietta, and was recorded in the census as Mary Sackett, aged two, born on 26 July 1898.4
