Ethel Lavina Sackett, daughter of James Arthur "Art" Sackett and Lula Dell "Lou" McCool, was born in Crossfield, Alberta, CanadaG, on 12 April 1915.1 She died aged 87 on 7 September 20022,3 and was buried at El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, CaliforniaG.4 She married on 28 February 1942, Charles Peter Gledhill, son of George Ernest Gledhill and Edith Alice Chapman.5 Charles was born in Northumberland, Ontario, CanadaG, on 4 June 1910.6 He died aged 96 in San DiegoG on 11 September 2006 and was buried at El Camino Memorial Park, San DiegoG.6
     In 1921 Ethel was living in Rosebud Municipality, Calgary, Alberta, CanadaG, in the household of her parents James and Lula, and was recorded in the census as Ethel Sackett, aged six and born in Alberta.7
     Ethel crossed from Canada to the USA at Eastport, IdahoG, on 22 December 1942.8
