Alfred Sackett, son of George Edward Sackett and Katherine Annie "Kate" Cook, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 5 June 19001,2 and baptized at St Andrew's Church, FulhamG, on 1 July 1900.3 He died aged 66 in Chelsea, LondonG, in 1966.4 He married at St Augustine Church, Fulham, LondonG, on 8 March 1919, Ellen Burns, daughter of Edward Burns.5,6,7 Ellen was born on 18 June 19002 and died aged 51 in FulhamG in 1951.8
     In 1901 Alfred was living at 39 Hannell Road, St Peter's, Fulham, LondonG, in the household of his parents George and Kate, and was recorded in the census as Alfred Sackett, aged one and born in Fulham.9
     In 1911 he was living at 39 Delaford Street, FulhamG, in the household of his parents George and Kate, and was recorded as Alfred Sackett, a schoolboy, aged ten and born in Fulham.10
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Alfred and Ellen were living at 219A Stephendale Road, Fulham, LondonG. Alfred was a builder's foreman. Their son Alfred was living with them. Five other residents whose names are withheld in the record would have been their other children.11
