Stephen Sackett, son of Hon Jehial Sackett and Semantha Knapp, was born in New York StateG on 26 January 1794.1,2 He died aged about 77 in 1871.1 He married in about 1817, Rachel Barton, daughter of Leonard Barton and Rachel Gale.1

1751. Stephen Sackett, 1794–1871, of Stanford, Dutchess County, N. Y., son of (730) Hon. Jehial and Semantha Knapp Sackett, was married, about 1817, to Rachel Barton, 1797–1875, daughter of Leonard Barton, M. D., and his wife Rachel Gale.
