Daniel Swinford, son of John Swinford and Ann Sackett, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 11 February 1818.1 He married ___ ___.
     Daniel was named as a beneficiary in his grandfather John Sackett's will made in St John in ThanetG on 21 July 1831. He was left a sum of £50, held in trust until age 21.2
     Daniel was named as a beneficiary in his grandmother Ann Hooper's will made in Margate, KentG, on 2 April 1840. He was left her gold watch, seal and chain, and her silver nutmeg box.3
     Daniel was named as a beneficiary in his aunt Mary Sackett's will made in St John in Thanet, KentG, on 14 August 1855. Daniel and his brother John were the main beneficiaries. They were each to inherit a half-share of the residue of the substantial estate (the value of the personalty alone was nearly £5,000) after specified bequests to their other brothers and sister.4
