Samuel E Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Julia Ann Heath, was born in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, IndianaG, on 29 August 1843.1,2,3 He died aged 71 in Little River County, ArkansasG, on 9 December 1914 and was buried at the Camp Ground Cemetery, Winthrop, Little River CountyG.2 He married at Adams CountyG on 28 December 1865, Jemima Beeman.1 Jemima was born in Franklin County, OhioG, on 13 October 1847.2 She died aged 77 in Little River CountyG on 10 March 19252 and was buried at the Camp Ground CemeteryG.2
     Samuel Sackett served as a Union soldier in the American Civil War in the 13th Regiment, Indiana Cavalry.4
