Geoffrey Frank Sackett, son of Frank William Sackett and Lydia Ellen Hawkes, was born in Maidstone, KentG, on 16 February 1922.1,2 He died aged 78 in Maidstone, KentG, on 29 May 2000.2,3,4 He married first in Malling, KentG, in 1940, Lily May Elcombe, daughter of William Elcombe and May M Homewood.5,6 Lily was born in MallingG on 29 April 1923.8,9 She died aged 48 in MaidstoneG on 8 June 1971.2,10 He married second in Maidstone, KentG, in 1974, Kathleen D Crundwell.7
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Geoffrey was living at Styles Cottage, Maidstone, KentG, with his parents, Frank and Lydia. He was a lorry driver's mate.11 Lily was living at Snoll Hatch, Malling, KentG, with her parents, William and May. She was a domestic servant.12
     Geoffrey left a will which was proved in Brighton, SussexG, on 7 August 2000.4
