Walter M Sackett, son of Charles Joseph Sackett and Margaret Schoonover, was born in New York StateG on 3 February 1859.1 He died aged 90 in Tusten, Sullivan County, New York StateG, on 23 February 19502 and was buried at Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg, Sullivan CountyG.3
     In 1870 Walter was living in Tusten, Sullivan County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Charles and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as Walter M Sackett, aged eleven and born in New York.4
     In 1880 he was living in Damascus, Wayne County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his father Charles and stepmother Eveline, and was recorded as Walter M Sacket, a farm laborer, aged 21.5
     In 1900 he was living in TustenG and was recorded as Wallie Sackett, a teamster, aged 41, single. He was a boarder in the household of William Otte.6
