Margery Sackett, daughter of John Sackett MD and ___ ___, was born in New York StateG say 1740.1 She married in Amenia, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 6 January 1763, Josiah Beardsley.1,2 Josiah was born about 1740.3 He died aged 67 on 17 May 1807 and was buried at the Old Cemetery, New Fairfield, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG.4

Wife Marjery, her dower in my estate, my household furniture (except that to be given to dau Lowis), & 1 cow, 1 horse, & 5 sheep.
Daughter Lowis, southwest chamber in my house with access to lower rooms for washing etc, while she remains a single woman, + 1 cow over and above what I have given to my other daughters on account of her long service + £30 in movables (comprising 2 beds & bedding, chairs & other specified items) to make her up to my other daughters.
Sons: James, Nathan, Josiah, Benjamin, Chauncey, residue of estate equally except Benjamin who is to have land to value of £20 over and above other sons on account of his not having a trade, Benjamin's land not to be sold without consent of James.
Daughters: Ruth, wife of Stephen Hoyt; Elizabeth, wife of John Hendrick; Rebeckah, wife of Wm Eliott; Sible?, wife of Eli Gregory; Lowis; each a common bible in addition to that already given.
