Daniel Sackett, son of Eli Sackett and Sarah ___, was born in New Haven, ConnecticutG, on 8 October 1777.1,2,3,4 He died aged 78 in North Haven, New Haven CountyG, on 7 April 18563 and was buried at New Center Cemetery, North HavenG.5,6 He married first in about 1800, Lydia Ray.3 Lydia was born in 1782 or 17833 and died aged 19 or 20 on 11 June 1802.3 He married second in North HavenG on 15 January 1812, Patty Brockett, daughter of Benjamin Brockett and Alethea Ray.7,3 Patty was born in about 1786.3 She died aged 70 in North HavenG on 23 October 18563 and was buried at New Center CemeteryG.8
     Daniel was listed in the 1820, 1830, and 1840 censuses as a householder in North HavenG.9,10,11
     In 1850 he was living in North HavenG and was recorded as Daniel Sackett, a farmer, aged 72. He owned his farm. Living with him were his wife Patty, 64, and their children, Ammi, 32, Lorenzo, 29, Samuel, 26, and Betsey, aged 22. Also in the household was Susan Marks, 36, of unknown relationship to the family.12
