Molly Sacket, daughter of William Sacket and Lydia Weller, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 14 October 17601,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 15 May 1763.4 She died aged 48 on 8 April 1809.3 She married in WestfieldG in about 1780, William Carter, having published marriage intentions on 14 May 1780.5
     Molly Carter was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in WestfieldG on 24 January 1797 and proved on 2 March 1802. She was to inherit two lots of land totalling 51 acres, and was also left a sum of $12.6
