     In 1880 William was living in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, in the household of his parents George and Mary, and was recorded in the census as William H Sackett, aged eight and born in Michigan.²
     In 1900 he was living at 4th Street, Scio, Washtenaw County^G, in the household of his parents George and Mary, and was recorded as William Sackett, a carpenter, aged 26.³

Myrtle Della Sackett, daughter of George Washington Sackett and Mary Ann Wade, was born in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, in June 1876.^1,2 She died aged 53 in Wayne County, Ohio^G, on 1 July 1929^3,4 and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter^G.⁶ Myrtle understated her age in later years, and this was carried over to her newspaper obituary and gravestone inscription. She would have been 53 at death, not 50. A birth record has not been found but the most reliable indicators would be her stated age of 4 years in the 1880 census and her stated birth date of June 1876 in the 1900 census. Myrtle had a son, Lawrence Melvin Sackett, by Henry Hayes, on 5 October 1893 in Dexter^G. Had Myrtle been 50 at death, she would have been only 14 at Lawrence's birth. Myrtle married in Dexter^G on 5 October 1903, Orson Goodrich, son of Ed Goodrich and Abina Kingman.⁵ Orson was born in Pittsford, Hillsdale County, Michigan^G, in 1878.⁷ He died aged 78 in Wooster, Wayne County^G, on 21 December 1954.
     In 1880 Myrtle was living in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, in the household of her parents George and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Myrtie Sackett, aged four and born in Michigan.⁸
     In 1900 she was living at Ann Arbor Street, Dexter^G, in the household of B B Williams, and was recorded as Myrta Sackett, a servant, aged 23, single.⁹
     In 1910 she was living at Cleveland Street, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, in the household of her husband Orson Goodrich, 32, a machinist in a foundry, and was recorded as Myrtle Goodrich, aged 29 [actually 33]. Also in the household was Myrtle's son Melvin, 17, described as her brother. Myrtle was also stated in the census to have had no children.¹⁰
     In 1920 she was living at Beck Avenue, Akron, Summit County, Ohio^G, and was recorded as Myrtle Goodrich, aged 41 [actually 43]. She was living with her husband Orson, 42, a brass finisher, in the household of Edward C Oplinger.¹¹

Lawrence Melvin Sackett, son of Harry Hayes and Myrtle Della Sackett, was born in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, on 5 October 1893.¹ He died aged 57 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County^G, on 7 April 1951² and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Townsend, Oconto County, Wisconsin^G.⁴ He married in Marshall, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, on 3 November 1914, Nettie Elizabeth Shepherd, daughter of William Shepherd and Helen Fuller.³ Nettie was born in Maine, Outagamie County, Wisconsin^G, on 13 October 1895. According to Lawrence's death record they were divorced. She died in Blackwell, Forest County, Wisconsin^G, on 4 April 1984⁵ and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery^G.⁴
     In 1900 Lawrence was living at 4th Street, Scio, Washtenaw County^G, in the household of his grandparents George and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Melvin Sackett, at school, aged six and born in Michigan. He was listed as a son but was George and Mary's grandson.⁶
     In 1910 Lawrence was living at Cleveland Street, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, in the household of his mother Myrtle and stepfather Orson Goodrich, and was recorded in the census as Melvin Sackett, aged 17. He was described as Orson's brother-in-law, i.e. Myrtle's brother, but was actually her son.⁷
     In 1920 he was living at Elm Street, Townsend, Oconto County^G, and was recorded as Lorence M Sackett, a laborer on the steam railroad, head of household, aged 26. Living with him were his wife Nettie, 24, and their children, Lawrence, 4, twins Roland and Russell, 2, and Gordon, aged one.⁸
     In 1930 he was living at Forest Avenue, Townsend^G, and was recorded as Lawrence M Sackett, a section hand on the railroad, head of household, aged 36. Living with him were his wife Nettie, 34, and their children, Lawrence V, 15, twins Roland and Russell, 13, Gordon, 12, Robert, 8, and Helen, aged five.⁹
     In 1937 Lawrence was employed as a laborer by the Chicago & North Western Railway Company, in Wabeno, Forest County, Wisconsin^G. The record identifies his father as Harry Hayes.¹⁰

Lawrence Vernon Sackett, son of Lawrence Melvin Sackett and Nettie Elizabeth Shepherd, was born in Michigan^G on 11 April 1915.¹ He died aged 75 at Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin^G, on 22 August 1990^2,3 and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Townsend, Oconto County, Wisconsin^G.⁵ He married first about 1936, Isabell Elizabeth Senso, daughter of John Senso and Alma Senso.⁴ Isabell was born on 15 August 1913.¹ She died aged 91 in Beaver Dam^G on 14 March 2005^6,7 and was buried at Highland Memory Gardens, Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin^G.⁵ He married second Mabel E ___. Mabel was born on 12 January 1911.^1,5 She died aged 79 in Lincoln County, Wisconsin^G, on 9 April 1990^8,9,10 and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Townsend^G.⁵

     In 1930 he was living at Forest Avenue, Townsend^G, in the household of his parents Lawrence and Nettie, and was recorded as Lawrence V Sackett, aged 15.¹²
     Lawrence completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 25 and was employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Manufacturing Company. He was living at 208 Washington Street, Beaver Dam^G, with his wife Isabell.¹³

Russell Milton Sackett, son of Lawrence Melvin Sackett and Nettie Elizabeth Shepherd, was born in Townsend, Oconto County, Wisconsin^G, on 15 January 1917.^1,2 He died aged 77 in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin^G, on 14 April 1994.² He married in Townsend^G on 14 June 1941, Edna Minkel.²
