Daniel Eaton Sackett, son of Daniel Sackett and Abigail Smith, was born on 5 August 1831.1,2 He died about 1909. He married on 5 September 1855, Mary Baker, daughter of Lawrence Baker and Maria P Proseus.2
     In 1850 Daniel was living in Williamson, Wayne County, New York StateG, in the household of his sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law Isaac Wade, and was recorded in the census as Daniel E Sacket, aged 18 and born in Pennsylvania.3
