Buel Martin, son of Job Martin and Nancy B Sackett, was born in Jericho, Chittenden County, VermontG, in 1843.1,2,3 He died there aged 77 on 5 September 1919.4 He married in JerichoG on 11 November 1868, Lucy Ann Percival, daughter of Henry Percival and Luana ___.5,3 Lucy was born in Georgia, Franklin County, VermontG, about 1850.6
     In 1850 Buel was living in JerichoG in the household of his parents Job and Nancy, and was recorded in the census as Buell Martin, aged eight and born in Vermont.7
     In 1860 he was living in JerichoG in the household of his mother Nancy, and was recorded as Buel Martin, a farm laborer, aged 17.8
