Edmund Martin, son of Job Martin and Nancy B Sackett, was born in VermontG in 1833.1,2 He died aged about 80 in 1913.2 He married Orvilla Lane.2
     In 1850 Edmund was living in Jericho, Chittenden County, VermontG, in the household of his parents Job and Nancy, and was recorded in the census as Edmund Martin, aged 14 and born in Vermont.3
     In 1860 he was living in JerichoG in the household of his mother Nancy, and was recorded as Edmond Martin, a farm laborer, aged 27. A Sarah Martin, 29, also in the household, was probably Edmund's wife, with a child, Orvilla, 13, from a previous marriage.4
