Brenys Eileen Sutton Evans, daughter of Alfred Donald Evans and Ivy Dorothea "Dorie" Sutton, was born in Bedwelty, MonmouthshireG, on 29 January 1929.1,2 She died aged 48 in South GlamorganG on 18 October 1977.3 She married in Bedwellty, MonmouthshireG, in 1948, David George James, son of Percival Harris and Catherine Victoria Ann Harries.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Brenys was living at 2 Gwalia Buildings, NantygloG, with her mother Ivy Dorothea and sister Mair in the household of Ivy Dorothea's parents, Wilsie and Elizabeth.5
     Administration of Brenys's estate was granted in Llandaff, South GlamorganG, on 11 November 1977.6
