George Munson, son of James Munson and Abigail Sackett, was born in ConnecticutG on 13 May 1810.1,2 He died aged 82 on 26 October 1892 and was buried at New Center Cemetery, North Haven, New Haven County, ConnecticutG.3,4
     In 1850 George was living in North HavenG in the household of his parents James and Abigail, and was recorded in the census as George Munson, a joiner, aged 40 and born in Connecticut.5
     In 1860 he was living in North HavenG and was recorded as George Munson, aged 50. Living with him were his mother Abigail, 78, and his sister Olive, 45.6
