Sarah J Moore, daughter of Asa Moore and Clymena Sacket, was born in MassachusettsG in about 1820.1 She married in Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 4 January 1843, Seymour Smith.2
     In 1850 Sarah was living in SpringfieldG in the household of her husband Seymour Smith, 36, an armorer, and was recorded in the census as Sarah J Smith, aged 30 and born in Massachusetts. Living with them were their children, Elnora, and Eldora, aged seven, and Caroline, aged five. Sarah's mother Clymena, 70, was also in the household.3
