Barton Hill Sackett Jr, son of Barton Hill Sackett and Verna Marion Darke, was born in Evanston, Cook County, IllinoisG, on 11 August 1919.1 He died aged 46 in an automobile accident in Dallas, TexasG, on 30 April 1966.2
     In 1920 Barton was living at Glenwood Avenue, ChicagoG, in the household of his parents Barton and Verna, and was recorded in the census as Barton D Sackett, aged five months and born in Illinois.3
     In 1930 he was living at Woodlawn Road, Glencoe Village, New Trier, Cook County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Barton and Verna, and was recorded as Barton H Sackett Jr, aged ten and born in Illinois.4
     Barton served in the US Army during the Second World War in the rank of corporal.5
