Lula Grace Sackett, daughter of Miles Bontoft Sackett and Louisa Harp, was born in MichiganG on 17 August 1880.1,2 She died aged 33 in Cook County, IllinoisG, on 27 February 1914.3 She married in Delray, Wayne County, MichiganG, on 24 August 1904, Louis Peter Larson, son of John Larson and Metta Peterson.4 Louis was born in IllinoisG in about 1876.5
     Lula was listed as a music teacher in the 1899 and 1901 Detroit City Directories, living with her mother Louisa at the family home at 2280 River Street.6
     In 1900 Lula was living at River Street, Springwells, Wayne CountyG, in the household of her widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Lulu Sackett, a music teacher, aged 19.7
     In 1910 she was living at North Maplewood Avenue, Chicago, IllinoisG, in the household of her husband Louis Larson, 33, a soap maker, and was recorded as Lula G Larson, aged 39 [an error for 29]. Living with them were their children, Allene, 2, and Anna, aged nine months.8
