May Sackett, daughter of Miles Bontoft Sackett and Louisa Harp, was born in Adrian, Lenawee County, MichiganG, on 27 March 1875.1 She died aged 55 in Detroit, Wayne County, MichiganG, on 21 October 1930 and was buried at Woodmere Cemetery, DetroitG.2 She married in Delray, Wayne CountyG, on 23 August 1892, John W Miller, son of Joseph Miller and Rachel Leatherman.3 John was born in MichiganG in December 1868.4
     In 1880 May was living at Frank Street, Adrian, Lenawee County, MichiganG, in the household of her parents Miles and Louisa, and was recorded in the census as May Seckett, aged five and born in Michigan.5
     In 1900 she was living at Copeland Avenue, Springwells, Wayne CountyG, in the household of her husband John Miller, 31, a pulp cooker at a pop mill, and was recorded as May Miller, aged 25. Living with them were their children, Mildred, 6, and Floyd, aged four.6
     In 1910 she was living at Thaddeus Street, DetroitG, in the household of her husband John Miller, 42, an assembler in an auto factory, and was recorded as May Miller, aged 35. Living with them were their children, Mildred, 16, Floyd, 14, Helen, 8, and Adella, aged two.7
     In 1920 she was living at Rademacher Street, DetroitG, in the household of her husband John Miller, 53, an assembler in an auto company, and was recorded as May Miller, aged 44. Living with them were their children, Mildred, 26, Floyd, 24, Helen, 18, and Adele, aged twelve.8
     In 1930 she was living at Rademacher Street, DetroitG, in the household of her husband John Miller, 60, an inspector at an auto factory, and was recorded as May Miller, aged 55. Their daughter, Adele, 22, was living with them. Also in the household were their daughter Mildred, 37, and her husband B Elmer Pohl, 36.9
