Elva Jane Sackett, daughter of Daniel Henry Sackett and Mary Blanche Vannest, was born in Detroit, Wayne County, MichiganG, on 27 June 1925.1,2 She died aged 91 on 10 May 2017.3 She married first in DetroitG on 7 September 1946, Kenneth Wilbur Ball, son of Robert S Ball and Agatha C ___.4 Kenneth was born in DetroitG on 9 September 1920.5 He died aged 62 in Livonia, Wayne CountyG, on 25 June 1983.6,7 She married second Orville Noah Heaton, son of Noah Heaton and Viola ___.3 Orville was born in MichiganG on 16 March 1925.1,5 He died aged 78 on 26 September 20038 and was buried at Mount Kelly Cemetery, Dearborn, Wayne CountyG.9,10
In 1930 Elva was living at First Street, DetroitG, in the household of her parents Daniel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Elva Sackett, aged four and born in Michigan.11
Elva J. Ball-Heaton (nee Sackett), 91, formerly of Clinton Twp., Mich. passed away peacefully May 10, 2017. Elva was the beloved wife of Kenneth Ball, who passed away in June 1983. She found love again late in life with Orville Heaton, who passed away in September 2003. Elva was also preceded in death by her loving children, Laurence Ball, Kevin Ball and Elaine Fraser. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Bahr (Jeffrey), her sister, Caryl Robinson, her favorite niece, Darlyne Slicker, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for family members in June.
