Florence M "Flossie" Sackett, daughter of Wilbur Fish Sackett and Carrie McNab, was born in Craig, Burt County, NebraskaG, on 1 July 1894.1 She died aged 34 in Emerson, Dakota County, NebraskaG, on 13 July 1928 and was buried at Craig CemeteryG.1 She married in Los Angeles, CaliforniaG, in June 1923, Harold Sydney "Harry" Gray.2 Harold was born in 1891.3 He died aged about 36 in Orange County, CaliforniaG, on 12 June 19274,5 and was buried at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Gardena, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG.6
     In 1900 Florence was living at Logan Street, EmersonG, in the household of her parents Wilbur and Carrie, and was recorded in the census as Flossie M Sackett, aged six and born in Nebraska.7
     In 1910 she was living at Maple Plain, Barron County, WisconsinG, in the household of her parents Wilbur and Carrie, and was recorded as Flossy Sackett, aged 16.8
     In 1920 she was living in Downey, Bannock County, IdahoG, and was recorded as Florence Sackett, a teacher in a public school, aged 24.9

Former Emerson Resident Passes Away
     Mrs. Harry Gray, formerly Miss Flossy M. Sackett, was born July 1st, 1894 at Craig, Nebraska, and died July 13th, 1928, at Emerson at the age of 34 years and 12 days. Mrs. Gray came to Emerson with her parents at the age of 5 years. After receiving her education in the Emerson schools she taught in and around Emerson for several years.
     In June 1923 she was united in marriage to Mr. Harry Gray of San Pedro, California, and made her home in that city until the death of her husband in June 1927.
     At the age of sixteen Mrs Gray was affiliated with the Methodist church of Cumberland, Wisconsin.
     She leaves to mourn her death the mother, Mrs. Carrie Sackett, Emerson, a brother, Clyde M. Sackett, of Omaha, and many life long friends.
     The father passed away on June 11th, 1928 [sic: 1918].
     Funeral services were held Sunday at the home in Emerson, Rev. Willis E. Smith, pastor of the Pentecostal Assembly of God officiating. Interment was made at Craig, Nebraska.
