Adaline D Sackett, daughter of John Meserole Sackett and Sarah J Dodge, was born in New York StateG in about 1838.1 She married in about 1855, George C Miller.2,3 George was born in New York StateG in about 1833.1 He died before 1880.1

In 1870 she was living in Deerpark, Orange County, New York StateG, in the household of her husband George C Miller, 37, a street inspector, and was recorded as Adaline D Miller, aged 31. Living with them were their children, Emma, 14, Sarah, 12, Alice, 9, Mary, 6, and Grace, aged one.5
In 1875 she was living in DeerparkG in the household of her husband George Miller, 42, a confectioner, and was recorded as Adaline Miller, aged 36. Living with them were their children, Emma, 19, Sarah, 17, Alice, 14, Mary, 11, Grace, 6, Esther, 2, and Frank, aged one. Adaline's brother John, 26, was a boarder in the household.6
Adaline was named as a beneficiary in letters of administration of her father's estate granted at the Bergen County Surrogate's Office, New JerseyG, on 17 January 1878.7
