     In 1891 Dorothy was living at 3 Rumsey Road, LambethG, in the household of her parents Thomas and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Dorothy I Wilkes, aged one and born in Lambeth.2
     In 1901 she was living at 151 Stockwell Park Road, LambethG, in the household of her widowed mother Sarah, and was recorded as Dorothy I Wilkes, aged ten and born in Brixton.3
